Dork Princess Rides Again

gaaaaaaa

Apologies to Nicole for proving on her myspace she has dorks for friends.   To have someone insult Naruto, anime, and inadvertently comic books (as this is the source of Naurto’s story line) was more than my poor heart could take.  My pulse quickened, my throat closed, and I ran to Alix for comfort.  I am such a DORK.  :P

However this line is classic.  I love it!  Nicole knows how to phrase her words!  :

Note to Sherrie: The cartoons will never love you back. If Tuxedo Mask showed no love, this Dude won’t either.

Hee hee.  But in fairness neither did Owen Wilson and I was encouraged in that crush!  sigh.

I need geek support!  :)

I didn’t mean to insult him. I am jealous of your wierd dork love. I just have a heart of stone…

There is no anime hero who could tame me.

Hee hee, actually I loved your post. It was the Amy comment that brought out the dork warrior in me. Sorry for geeking up your space. (well not really) :P

You defended everything very well Sherrie.

Orson from Record of Lodoss War was the first man I loved who didn’t feel the need to stomp all over my heart. Of course, it was because he didn’t exist in reality, he also didn’t have any feelings, which explained perfectly well why he never returned my affections.

But yeah, I’d much rather develop crushes on cartoons, then real-life actors who are probably complete assholes. In either case, they are never going to return your affections, but for some reason the love of a fictional character seems healthier to me than the love of some real life person you have never met and don’t know at all.

Ok, now I’m completely taken over YOUR blog Sherrie. I’ll stop now.

Ah Orson…why were you the only one to be killed in that whole anime?
