happy holidays! I did not go home this year, and instead celebrated Christmas in September with my parents when they came to visit me! And so though Switzerland this year was absolutely lovely and fun, it did not feel like Christmas. That is not to say the gifts were not fab, (because after all, it really is all about the gifts) I even got my very own bunny! (yes, its a live one), the food not delicious (I think I gained the requisite 10 holiday pounds), or the company not fine, the German´s family is my family. But the first year away after being home the year before is always a little off. Without my parents or my brothers or my Skye J how can I have a proper Christmas anymore? Its like getting really great deals on auto insurance quotes without having a car. You know its great, but there is just that vital thing missing…..
