I Wish I Was Able to Switch From Language To Language

Posted by on October 21, 2007

It never ceases to awe me how people are able to switch from language to language. Some people are quite lucky and were born with parents who did not share the same mother tongue. If their parents were diligent about it when they were younger then they grew up with two languages and a massive head start. Other people never had this advantage yet seem to collect languages the way I collect shoes. With a squeal of laughter and the swipe of card. I walk away blissfully happy with my new purchase, others walk away able to communicate with a new fraction of the world.

Well Backgammon masters now have their software available in over 12 languages including Chinese. Wither you switch between languages with ease, or even if your struggling to learn, now you can practice with gamers around the world, and play backgammon and improve your language skills. (I do try to get my students to work with English outside of our classroom, online games are one option!)

The games are not only in the language chosen, but so are the rules. Want to play backgammon and only speak Portuguese? No problem. The rules for all their online games, including tips and strategies to improve your playing are available in 12 languages including Portuguese. Though at the moment the new launch of live support will be n English only, the other languages will soon follow.

The next languages to be added are Italian and Russian to the backgammon online gaming empire.
